Art at Avenue

When we refreshed Avenue’s interior in 2014 we wanted to keep the restaurant’s original identity at the fore, particularly the design created by US architect Rick Mather. His idea was based on the look and feel of 1990s Manhattan art galleries and loft spaces, making the space ideal for exhibiting new, exciting artworks. So as a tip of the hat to Mather’s initial vision, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Avenue is excited to have partnered with the renowned Ingram Collection of Modern British and Contemporary Art and art retailer Rise Art to showcase and curate ongoing collections, created by some of the UK’s most exciting emerging and established artists. Our newest exhibition brings together pieces from The Ingram Collection, alongside works by Robert Pereira Hind, Bruce McLean and Barbara Rae, which are for sale through Rise Art.

This collaboration is a continuation of Avenue’s tradition of acting as a champion of the arts and all pieces are available to be purchased.
